As The Snow Falls
BrightDog Theatre
(WARNING: Contains strong language and adult themes throughout)
As the Snow Falls follows Kenneth and Sam – two men in a pub from starkly different cultural backgrounds, both abandoned by society in very different ways. But despite their differences, they are ultimately united by laughter and a love of music.
This provocative comedy examines the shifting social landscape and its impact on an often over-looked demographic. Through the lens of an ever-diminishing pub culture, Kenneth and Sam’s unlikely connection emerges from one man’s desperate search for meaning.
What happens when the arts are stripped from the working class? How do people communicate in a world where technology has replaced human connection? Pull up a stool, share a pint, and watch Kenneth and Sam stumble, clash, and navigate their way through it.
"A fantastic idea and a powerful commentary on modern society - especially from the perspective of a male."
"The interplay between the characters was hilarious, with impeccable comedic timing. And when the emotional moments hit, they hit hard."
"One of the strongest pieces of theatre I've seen in years. A stunning mix of dark comedy, social commentary and raw emotion."
