The Society, originally founded by Dame Ellen's daughter, Edy, has been in existance for over 50 years in one form or other. It exists to promote the The Ellen Terry Barn Theatre as a working theatre in memory of Dame Ellen Terry and to keep the technical and stage equipment in the theatre in good repair and up to date. We also run a season of plays between April and October. Members of the Society are regularly circulated with details of productions before tickets go on general sale, and will be invited to exclusive members only events. The yearly subscription is £1, however, you are encouraged to make a further donation to support The Society.
